This book goes over and tells the story of two men that went missing in 1974, they both went missing in two different incidents but 6 people where said to be guilty of his murder. However later on in the years the all the criminal where found not guilty. All of the 'criminals' pled as guilty but this was because the police made them believe they were by showing them photos that clearly showed them as murder suspects. Overall this book goes over this case and the creator of the book traced back to the people who disappeared and what happen to them after they vanished, this resulted in his sugar paper theories . He also spent time with the survivors who were convicted as guilty, by standers and witnesses of the case. Jack Latham documents all of his photographs in a documentary style of photography that allows him to capture events, places and people in the present. In the book he included some of the original photographs to help tell the story of what actually happened beck then and also to show how the two incidents have been stages and twisted over the years. These old photographs although had a purpose back then, now they may look more aesthetic and as if they where intend to be taken for a different purpose

For the parliament of owl jack lather investigated the mystery behind peoples questions and rumours about the parliaments secret meeting that the powerful people are having behind the publics back. He went into the secret forest and took photos of the mystery place that everyone was talking about, before doing this he investigated the case for a year and gathers all evidence and conspiracy that the public have given out. Later he published the photos and gave the public a better view and idea of what was really happening in the mystery forest that the government people would gather in. He grounded the conclusion that it was "one of the largest gatherings of wealth and politics that happens yearly and the public are excluded from knowing what goes on inside". he also stated that he tried to contact the bohemian club directly but they refused to speak to journalists or anyone outside the club. Some of the pages in the book are together at the bottom of the page, this creates a sense of mystery but it also forces the reader to either break the page or look into the page as if they are peering through branches looking at the mystery that the club holds, just like jack did when exploring this mystery he also said "ultimately its a question to the viewer, whether they break in or not"

His project began at his parents house during the summer in America. He was reading news papers and came across weird and interesting police reports which people called in during the week, one of these random reposts stated " one holiday he decided to get the project on a move on, he started taking photographs that mimicked the police reports but with a twist of something of something slightly strange or surreal. after gathering a couple of photos he started to pair them together with the police reports, together they created new meanings for both the photos and reports. Most the photos that he took where random good mistake, such to foot that he found outside a wine factory, he stated that he was concerned about taking that exact photo. He named his photo book based on the slant between the images and the texts and how they come together at a slight slant.
